Since 1993, SignalBIP has designed and manufactures electronic equipment for referees of all sports. Our electronic flags and audio communication kits bring performance and serenity to officials, the amateur match at the highest international level.

Perform arbitration
Our mission is not to over-equip the referee, but to reinforce his decision-making and create a real cohesion in the arbitration team. Our story
Of the family workshop at the stages of the whole world
Two generations, the same commitment: give the arbitrators the means of their excellence.
Louis V. creates the Label Society and deposits the patent of the first electronic arbitration aid. In its design office, surrounded by engineers on computers 486 DX2, is born the idea that will revolutionize the communication between arbitrators.
The device is used for the first time at the Atlanta Olympics. FIFA takes note: A French SME has just solved an old problem like sport.
Football World Cup in France. Arbitrators around the world use Electronic FlagsBIP. FIFA officially recommends the system to all national associations.
Romuald V., son of the inventor, bought the brand. Formed at the age of 12 in the design office of his father, he brings his own expertise in hardware design, onboard and mechanical software.
After 18 months of complete redesign of electronic and mechanical design, signalBIP repatriates all its manufacture in France. An expensive but liberator bet: finished addiction to suppliers who dictated their prices.
Launch of FK-43 with World Radio Frequency and Bluetooth audio communication kits. A referee can now go with his kit anywhere in the world. SignalBip opens at handball, basketball, futsal, volleyball and hockey.
Export structuring in 13 target countries, local assembly in Brazil, network of distributors and international ambassadors. The fifth generation is in development, supported by BPI France.

I was 12 years old when I started to be interested in my father's work. We lived in a large house in the countryside and the right wing consisted of the design office of its company. In the evening or the weekend, I had the right to walk around the offices, to observe the work in progress, even to light the computers of the engineers by following very strict rules. I quickly learned programming, and then self-taught electronics and electricity. At age 14, I was doing all the electricity of the workshops and I knew how to program automatons. Engineers took my training very seriously.
One day, my father forbade us to go out in pajamas in the yard - he had a very important meeting. By the kitchen window, we saw disembarking new brand new jeeps, with people who opened the doors to lower these important people. It was one of the main directors of FIFA, which came to sign the contract in our country house. In my boy's head, I knew that if I wanted to be a great man, I had to be a business leader as well. It's many years later, after creating my own business, which I bought signalBip - by industrial condition and synergies.
My father is one of my mentors. He expatriate himself from France to become a Buddhist monk, distinguishing the majority of his material goods after a life of business leader. The lesson I learned is that there should be only one founding pillar of all our actions: love. The business must feed the affected humans of healthy and growing relationships for everyone. Otherwise, there is no interest in undertaking.
It's much deeper than that. The arbitral body no longer enjoys its legitimate immunity. We claim the referee perfection, and this one is not human. Why the radio and not the bluetooth for the flags?
The Bluetooth is designed to transmit a lot of data on short distances - audio, video. The electronic flag needs the opposite: transmit an encrypted and secure signal over 300 meters, with very little information. This is why signalBip uses a dedicated radio technology for flags, and reserve the Bluetooth to the audio kits where the scope is extended thanks to the mesh mesh between the equipment of the three referees.
A global frequency, a free referee
Until 2024, an arbitrator who bought his kit in Europe simply could not use it in the United States. The European 868 MHz is saturated by telecommunications across Atlantic. With FK-43 and its frequency 433 MHz, an international referee serenely shares with its material - the one he knows, that he has settled for him - all over the world.
